Appeasing the Muse a poem

The streams of light
Shines on thru the night
Moonlight starlight bright

Green glades Sun shades
Soft moss Springy floss flowers
As I while away the hours

Dreams dancing inside my mind
Worlds spring forth with a thought
This is the writing I wrought

Supernova explodes ideas unfold
Visions untold Imagination’s fire
Bring forth Creativity’s desire

Words on Fire
Communications require
Sentences no longer concealed
My Mind’s workings and quirkings
The pages revealed
Muse appeased for now

  1. Nice poem, Toni Lynn. You really capture the inner workings of a writer's mind.
