The Music of the Rain

The Music of the Rain. As I sit warm and safe inside, Fuzzy socks on my feet. Listening to the steady droning beat. Wind whistling thru the eaves, Looking out in the gathering gloom. I see the trembling leaves. The life giving water soon more flowers will bloom. I hope and pray that all our loved ones if out in this inclement weather come home safe and sound, and an Ark won't be needed yet, but I won't quite take that bet. Soonest before I know it, Hot Summer's days and I will think wistfully upon this Musical Rainy Day!

Appeasing the Muse a poem

The streams of light
Shines on thru the night
Moonlight starlight bright

Green glades Sun shades
Soft moss Springy floss flowers
As I while away the hours

Dreams dancing inside my mind
Worlds spring forth with a thought
This is the writing I wrought

Supernova explodes ideas unfold
Visions untold Imagination’s fire
Bring forth Creativity’s desire

Words on Fire
Communications require
Sentences no longer concealed
My Mind’s workings and quirkings
The pages revealed
Muse appeased for now
